IGB is building a new factory in IndjijaAugust 18th 2010.Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic, the mayor of Indjija Goran Jesic and deputy director of the company IG Bauergih - IGB Automotive Joseph Hilmer signed a contract to build a new factory in the municipality of Indjija. The company opened in September 2007 the manufacturing plant in Indjija, and after three years of successful business has decided to buy land and build a brand new factory, for which received support from the Municipality of Indjija. `It is my great pleasure to have in front of us a successful autumn, in which will open a few industrial plants in Indjija. I hope that we will have such results in the future. In my opinion the state does not need to encourage economic development, but to create conditions for it. It is interesting that since SIEPA introduced support to companies for job creation, when the contracts signed only in the municipality of Indjija with companies that municipality gives support to are fulfilled, only in Indjija will be 2300 new jobs. I'm not sure that the large international companies in fierce competition will choose Serbia, which does not have the best infrastructure, best admministration or the best justice system, so I consider this to be a key measure to attract major international companies that will eventually began to spread in Serbia. I think the state should participate in the promotion of economic development, it of course, first of all has to create conditions and a country that is safe for foreign capital, and that means quick justice, guarantee of the invested money, and without such subsidies would not exist any such results, `said the Mayor of Indjija Goran Jesic. The German company Bauerhin - IGB Automotive products the seat heaters for the automotive industry and has production facilities in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Korea and China. This successful company employed 300 workers from Indjija, and after the construction of new factories that number will increase to 750. `I am especially pleased to sign this agreement today. I would like to thank the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Mr Dinkic for awarding these grants. This opens a possibility for us to build a factory for the production of heaters and employ a total of 750 workers. Special thanks for Indjija without whose support we would not have succeeded to in such a short time realize the planned objectives, and I hope it will sign an agreement with many medium-sized enterprises because such enterprises can strengthen the economy of Serbia `- said the deputy director of the company Joseph Hilmer. Company Bauerhin - IGB Automotive is a user of the program of financial support to investors who conducted the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and the Agency for Foreign Investment and Export Promotion Opportunities, and the total amount of funds to get them a contract signed today is 1.8 million, so that all investment of the company's approximately 5 million euros. `This is one more German investment in Serbia and I'm very happy about that. Germany, in the first half of this year, recorded the highest growth in the European Union, and considering the fact that Serbia mostly exports to the German market, it will improve the Serbian exports. We're committed to more local and foreign investors to open an entirely new factories and hire more people, because unemployment is the biggest problem of Serbian economy. This plant will start to work in the late spring, and in addition to the existing 300 workers by the end of 2012th will hire 450 workers more. What on which Indjija and Serbia should be proud is the fact that the Serbian heaters installed in the car all over the world, and it is very important that the Serbian products find place in the world market because it is the manner in which the Serbian economy in the years to recover. We can see the end of difficulties caused by economic crisis in sight, but we can not relax until the employment in Serbia does not increase and therefore we will continue to give incentives for the employment of such people. The interest of foreign companies shows that the Serbian most desired location for foreign companies investing in Eastern and Central Europe, and it's a great opportunity to continue our plans, `said Mr. Dinkić and added `I would like to give a specialcredit to Indjija which first began to attract serious investment, and now when you look at all the plots around Indjija almost all are staffed with factories, and announced the construction of the new ones. Indjija has been a pioneer in this model to improve economic growth, and I suggest that all municipalities which have not yet done so to begin to copy this municipality `- concluded the Minister. The new factory will be built on an area of 7,500 square meters and it will annually produce nearly 6 million seat heaters. The deadline for the completion of the project, which includes employment and the start of production is the 2012th, while the plant will be built next year. |
